Lime might help to slow down Global Warming

The molecule Carbon dioxide (CO2) is said to be one of the reasons for Global Warming. The oceans are capable of binding carbon dioxide to some extent. However, dissolved carbon dioxide - which all of you know from sparkling water ? acidifies the Oceans. Scientists therefore suggest adding lime to seawater, a molecule also called calcium oxide. It helps to reverse the acidification of the oceans and could eventually help to slow down Global Warming.
