Evolution shaped our face of fearEver wondered about the standard fear face: wide open mouth, eyes and nostrils? Canadian researchers found out that this expression was actually created by evolution. With wide open mouth and nostrils, one can breathe faster. And open eyes obviously see more. Try it if you want to. Some people might even say that animals and humans look very alike in moments of fear. Now we know why.
