Why does a caress, a cuddle etc. feel so nice?

A caress, a cuddle, a hug, they all give us a feeling of warmth and comfort... Why?

I believe they feel nice because of what they represent, it is a way of expressing yourself and i think you feel as good as when you here someone to say " I'm here for you to protect you and keep you company ". It is the same thing only said in the body language

Maybe it has a psychological aspect... But I think there's more. Let's take for example a strong friendship or a "crush" on someone :-P... The touch of the people you love gives you a nice "warm" feeling, as I said (at least it gives me that kind of a feeling...) It's not only a psychological subject, though, in my opinion... The same stands when you're petting a dog, or a kitten, or a baby... It's a very special feeling!
But are you a boy? Cause this might as well be some kind of "mother-instinct"...! :-P

Name one girl who would call herself Rocker in m .... or the fact that I answered to this question gave you the impression that i am a girl ? o.0 Yes , I am a boy !!!!!!
:p In any case , i don't know the answer to your question and neither to the question why a boy and a girl are attracted in the first place ... And something else , not everybody likes to pet a dog actually some can't even touch them ... you have to love the dogs or at least like them to enjoy it so i still believe it is a psychological issue
